Refund policy

Why it works this way

A download cannot be sent back, and plenty of sellers use that as a reason to refuse everything. We would rather return $7.49 to a reader who is getting nothing out of the book than keep it and leave someone annoyed. If it isn't for you, that is a good enough reason.

Things we refund

• The download link never arrived, or stopped working before you got the file.
• The file won't open, or opens damaged — missing text, scrambled text.
• The book is materially not what the page described.
• You were charged twice, or charged for something you did not buy.
• You have read some of it, it isn't what you needed, and you say so within fourteen days.

For the first two, tell us before you ask for the money. A fresh link usually fixes it in minutes, and then you have the book as well as your $7.49.

How to ask

Email Harshriddles@gmail.com and include:

1. the email address you paid with, or the PayPal transaction ID from your receipt;
2. one line about what went wrong. “It wasn't for me” is a complete line.

There is no form, no exit survey, and nothing to send back.

How long it takes

We reply within two working days, usually sooner. Once a refund is agreed we send it through PayPal within five working days. After that it is out of our hands: PayPal returns the money the way you paid, and a card can take another three to ten days to show the credit.

A refund is the full amount you paid. We do not hold back a handling fee. If two weeks go by with nothing showing, write again and we will chase the reference.

Before you open a PayPal dispute

You are entitled to, and we would never hold it against you. But a dispute freezes the money while PayPal reviews it, which usually means waiting longer than an email would have taken. One message to Harshriddles@gmail.com is normally the shorter path. If we go quiet on you, dispute away.

After the fourteen days

The no-reasons window closes, but a broken file does not become your problem. If the PDF ever won't open, or turns out to be corrupt, write whenever you notice and we will replace it — or refund you if we can't.

One thing we ask

If we refund you, please delete your copy. We cannot take the file back and we are not going to chase you about it. This is the part of the policy that runs on good faith, and it mostly does.

Nothing on this page reduces a right you have by law. Where the law of India, or the law of your own country, gives you more than we offer here, the law wins.
